As you browse the Site, we also collect information about the individual web pages you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as "Device Information."

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • Cookies – data files placed on your device, often including an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, visit allaboutcookies.org.
  • Log files – track actions occurring on the Site and collect data including your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  • Web beacons, tags, and pixels – electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as "Order Information."

When we talk about "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

SECTION 2 – HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use the Order Information we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site, including to:

  • Communicate with you
  • Screen orders for potential risk or fraud
  • Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services, when this is in line with the preferences you have shared with us

We use the Device Information we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

SECTION 3 – SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use it as described above. For example:

  • Shopify – our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform. Your data is stored through Shopify's data storage, databases, and general application. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. See Shopify's Privacy Policy at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
  • Payment processors – we use Shopify Payments to process payments. If you choose a direct payment gateway, that processor stores your credit card data, encrypted per PCI-DSS standards.
  • Analytics and advertising – We use Google Analytics to help us understand how customers use the Site, and Google & YouTube (including Google's Enhanced Conversions feature) to measure and optimize our advertising. Enhanced Conversions shares certain hashed customer information (such as email address) with Google to improve ad measurement accuracy. You can read more about Google's data practices at google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/, and opt out of Google Analytics here: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

SECTION 4 – BEHAVIORAL ADVERTISING

We use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. For more information about how targeted advertising works, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative's educational page at networkadvertising.org/understanding-online-advertising/how-does-it-work.

You can opt out of targeted advertising by:

  • Google: google.com/settings/ads/anonymous
  • Bing: advertise.bingads.microsoft.com/en-us/resources/policies/personalized-ads

Additionally, you can opt out of some of these services by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out portal at optout.aboutads.info.

Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control. Some browsers and browser extensions send a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Where required by applicable law, we honor GPC signals as a valid opt-out of the sale/sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising purposes.

SECTION 5 – YOUR RIGHTS

If you are a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Oregon, or other US state resident with an applicable privacy law, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you and why
